AI Prompting.

Literature Study Tinkering

Introduction

I looked into AI prompting to understand what works best for generating temporary theme pages. This project uses AI to create, modify, and integrate these pages so it was really important to look at its capabilities and limitations.

Abstract

The purpose of my research was to look at the potential of AI in generating, modifying, and integrating temporary theme pages. By doign various experiments I wanted to understand how to prompt the AI to achieve the best results.

In the first experiment, I tested the possibility to create an HTML page using different prompts. While the first few attempts resulted in unwanted content in the output, iterating on the prompts gave a more detailed and usable HTML body.

The second experiment focused on using Tailwind for styling. The AI successfully applied Tailwind, and even resulted in a more professional looking page.

In the third experiment I integrated images into the HTML pages. The AI handled this task really well with only minimal prompting.

The fourth experiment was organizing content into sections with unique IDs. This organization will be important for editing sections of pages later on. This too went well with minimal prompting.

Lastly, in the fifth experiment I tested the possibility to edit specific sections of the generated page based on section IDs. The AI did really well and made specific changes without changing other parts of the page.

Conclusion

With these experiments I was able to see how AI can handle different tasks like generating HTML pages, using Tailwind for styling, adding custom content, organizing content into sections, and editing specific parts of the page. The research showed that with the right prompts AI can create functional and detailed HTML pages, use different styling frameworks, integrate custom content, and make specific edits.
